Welcome!

The HPUM Church Pre-School strives to provide a quality pre-school education in a loving Christian atmosphere.  Our Pre-School has over thirty-five years of experience providing age appropriate learning activities and experiences to children ages two through five.  We align our curriculum with the Plum Borough School District to ensure children are fully prepared to enter public school.  In addition, our Pre-School coordinates services such as hearing, speech and vision screenings and class pictures.

It is important to make hands-on learning exciting.  During the school year we are visited by representatives from the local volunteer fire department, the Plum Library, a local dentist, and a local pizza shop.  All ages enjoy a fall field trip to a pumpkin farm.  The four year olds will experience a field trip to a local grocery store for a behind-the-scenes tour.

We enjoy celebrating Christian holidays and learning about God's love.  With a non-denominational approach, we read books and talk about Jesus being the reason for Christmas.  Then, we talk about God's ultimate expression of love for us at Easter in an age- appropriate way.

Parties throughout the year include a Halloween parade, a Christmas celebration, a Valentine's Day party, and a Mother's Day luncheon.  We encourage parent participation for these parties and any other special events throughout the school year!
