CONNECTIONAL APPORTIONMENTS are an important way that our congregation extends our reach and ministry to the world in ways that go beyond our own ability. When we put our “portion” together with other churches, God can bring about results that are unimaginable otherwise. Over the years, we have consistently been faithful at reaching 100% of our requested connectional apportionment goals, and here are some examples of how God has blessed our commitment and our connectional apportionment through the work and ministry of our Global Ministries:
- The WPA churches together contributed nearly $297,000 to Global Ministries.
- The Global Ministries arm of the church works in more than 115 countries.
- They train, commission, assign and support missionaries in the US and worldwide.
- They establish and nurture new faith communities and support existing congregations with evangelism and church revitalization.
- Global Ministries strengthens church and community efforts to prepare for disaster and provide humanitarian relief following a disaster.
- Global Ministries works to strengthen global health in a variety of ways including promoting nutrition and developing sanitation facilities
We currently care for our Connectional Apportionment contributions on a monthly basis.
