How Do I Meet People?

The Holiday Park United Methodist Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Holiday Park United Methodist Church.

Wonderful Wednesdays

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, HPUMC hosts Wonderful Wednesdays. These nights open with a free dinner at 6pm for all participants and also include adult studies,  pre-school, and elementary youth activities.  Four such sessions are held each year.

Youth Ministry

Each Sunday morning at 10:00 am, children; three years of age through eighth grade; begin their day in the Sanctuary to receive a special message from Pastor Fallisi.  Then, they are dismissed to participate in their own age appropriate classes.  The senior high students stay and continue their worship experience. On Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm, junior and senior high students continue their Christian experience with specialize activities and lessons that gives each student an opportunity participate and learn. The youth ministry of the Holiday Park United Methodist Church is recognized for their close interaction.

Young Adults

Life can get complicated once you cross that nebulous threshold into adulthood. There are complicated decisions. Bigger stakes. Serious relationships. And a whole lot more decisions. The young adult group of the Holiday Park United Methodist Church provides a welcoming atmosphere for college and early-career aged young people.

Women’s Group

The Holiday Park United Methodist Church Women’s Bible Study Groups gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women’s groups are times of Bible study, prayer (and, of course, food). These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church with the 9:30 am Tuesday Morning Bible Study and the Susanna Wesley Bible Study meeting at 9:30 am on Wednesday mornings. Call 724-327-6552 for additional information.

Men’s Group

The men at the Holiday Park United Methodist Church get together  a few times a year with their most significant effort coming on Easter Morning.  The men cook and serve breakfast to the entire congregation between our Sunrise service and the second of three services offered that day.  A Men’s Bible Study group meets on Friday Morning at 10:00 am from September through May. Call 724-327-6552 for additional information.

Kids for Christ

The  purpose of the Kids for Christ Program is to provide a mid-week Christian environment for our children in first through sixth grade.  Our Christian Ministry Coordinator, Luci McGough; leads this program on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 pm.  Summer KIDZ

Are your kiddos always searching for fun activities to fill up their summer days?  Do you still want your youngsters grounded in their Christian faith over the next few months?  Well, HPUMC is delighted to present their exciting Kidz Summer Program!  This is a summertime continuation of the Kids for Christ Program that you may have already  read about. Luci McGough  is leading this adventure which launched a number of years ago. Contact her at (724) 327-6552  Ext. 5  or at childrensministry@holidayparkumc.org for the latest schedule.  Events are planned throughout the summer on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and some weekends.  Any children entering 1st  grade through 6th grade are welcome.  Our meetings may be held here at the church for some teaching time, they may be a mini-trip to a local destination for some leisure or they may be time spent serving others.  Overall, our goal is to nurture and grow our children’s faith in deeper, more meaningful, ways, as well as, influence our community and reach our friends for Jesus Christ.  We desire to create an enticing and stimulating Children’s Ministry that will draw multitudes to the Savior!

 Cherub Choir

The purpose of the Cherub Choir is to teach young children Bible songs that will stay with them forever.  This program is for children 3 years of age through first grade and is led by Beth Kerschner, our Director of Music Ministry. The Cherub Choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm and sings for the congregation about every six weeks. Beth can be contacted by calling (724) 327-6552 or at musicministry@holidayparkumc.org.
